Nathan and Mary-Karen met at Adam Sackman's high school graduation party in 2003 just before leaving for college at Carbondale. Neither wanted to date because they were leaving for college, but decided it was OK because both were going to Carbondale. They dated for 4 1/2 years, then got engaged on Christmas 2007. The rest is history....
